It's made with features that are accurately crafted for consistent functionality whether you're out on the highway or rough off-road areas. The kit is constructed using 8260 steel which is reputed as one of the toughest steel alloy variants.

      Fully Functional Design. The ring gear of the EXCEL from Richmond 8.25 in. Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Kit - 4.56 Gears is comprised of 41 teeth while the pinion gear is made up of 9 teeth bringing the ratio of the kit to 4.56. Its ring gear shaft bears a diameter of 8.25 inches while the pinion shaft stretches out to 1.626-inch. The pinion shaft is also designed with a 27 spline count. The kit has been dual drilled for both 3/8-inch and 10mm applications.

      Easy Install Procedure. This kit comes with an easy to follow instruction manual to help install it. Nonetheless, professional installation is recommended for best results.

      Recommended Upgrade. You may require a handheld tuner to re-calibrate your truck’s speedometer readings after altering your gear ratios.
