Manufactured from high-quality 8620 steel, the ring gear features an 8.25-inch diameter with 41 teeth, while the pinion gear has 10 teeth, 27 splines, and a 1.626-inch diameter shaft. The gear set is dual drilled to fit both 3/8" and 10mm ring gear bolts, ensuring compatibility and durability in demanding applications.

      Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill, including the use of a notched cross pin (80-0278-1) to provide clearance for the ring gear. Proper setup with a 2.71 or numerically higher ratio carrier is necessary for optimal gear mesh and performance.
