The DV8 Offroad Xtract Hitch Skid Plate; Red is a rugged accessory designed to safeguard your vehicle’s hitch receiver from trail damage while providing a strong recovery point. It mounts to a standard 2" hitch receiver and offers protection against rocks with a replaceable skid pad, making it essential for off-road enthusiasts aiming to preserve vehicle integrity during demanding trail use.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from high-quality 6061-T6 billet aluminum in a single-piece design, this skid plate combines strength and durability with a sleek finish. It is available in raw, black, or red finishes and features upgradeable skid pads in Delrin or aluminum to suit varying protection needs.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward and does not require drilling, relying on a ?” pin for secure attachment to the hitch. The process is simple and accessible for most off-road enthusiasts.

      Warranty. This product includes a one-year limited warranty covering defects in workmanship and materials.

      Application. Fits most 2” hitch receivers; however, some OEM or aftermarket hitches with underslung gussets, such as the 2016-2023 Tacoma OEM hitch, may not allow proper fitment. Not compatible with 2.5” hitches, even with reducers.
