Description
Premium Axle Protection. The Artec Industries 1-Ton APEX Front Kingpin/Balljoint 60 Axle Swap with Adjustable Truss Upper Link Mount for 3-Link is designed to enhance axle strength and durability for demanding off-road applications. This kit replaces factory truss components with a rigid, CNC laser-cut steel truss assembly that improves axle alignment and suspension performance without including axle or ABS sensor components.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from in-house CNC laser cut ¼" and 3/16” mild steel, the truss features dimpled holes to reduce weight while maintaining rigidity. The design contours closely with the cast steel differential and incorporates a high-clearance upper control arm mount that fits either bushings or Johnny Joints. The raw steel structure is prepared for customer-applied finishes such as powder coating or paint.
Installation. Installation involves positioning the truss assembly over the axle and welding it in place. This design reduces the amount of welding by about 70% compared to previous versions, minimizing distortion and decreasing installation time. The kit includes fixture points for attaching suspension brackets and does not require drilling. Installation is suited for experienced DIYers or professional installers.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 20-26 Jeep Gladiator JT models with a focus on accommodating factory link, spring, anti-sway bar, and shock locations for seamless integration.
