      Description

      Performance Wastegate. The Turbosmart Gen4 HyperGate45 External Wastegate; 14 PSI; Black is engineered to provide reliable boost control for turbocharged engines. It efficiently vents excess exhaust gases to regulate turbine speed and boost pressure, optimizing power delivery. This external wastegate is ideal for street applications, supporting both pump fuel and E85 setups, balancing flow capacity and heat resistance.

      Construction and Appearance. Featuring a stainless steel cast body and an aluminum actuator housing, this wastegate is built for durability. It includes a solid stainless steel valve and a proprietary high-temperature silicon Nomex diaphragm. The black anodized actuator housing may discolor with heat exposure but remains fully functional and reliable under operating conditions.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward with no additional drilling required, utilizing peer flange orientation for direct fitment. The package includes V-band clamps, inlet and outlet weld flanges, and a locking collar tool to assist with spring changes and ensure secure mounting.

      Application. The wastegate is designed for universal compatibility, though some adaptation may be necessary depending on the specific engine and turbocharger setup. It fits 45mm valve flange systems and comes with all necessary hardware for typical installations.
