Description
Radical Viper Design. The Viper was one of the most iconic vehicles in recent history with its aggressive design. You can now give your Gladiator some of that radical styling with this Viper Style Hood in Carbon Fiber. This hood features a Viper-style central air scoop and side heat vents as well as premium carbon fiber construction. These features come together to give your ride a menacing look that’s all about performance.
Upgraded Function. As awesome as the central air scoop and side heat vents on this Viper hood are, these are not just for show. The hood scoop and heat vents include premium aluminum mesh grilles, enabling them to promote ideal heat exchange and cool airflow. This translates to lower engine bay temperatures, improving the supply of cold air for your engine.
Durable Build Quality. This Viper hood is manufactured from high-quality 2 x 2 twill weave carbon fiber sheets for maximum strength without the extra weight. These carbon fiber sheets are then hand laid into specialty molds before introducing uniquely formulated resin. The molds are then subjected to a high-tech curing process that maximizes the characteristics of the material. Lastly, the finished hood receives a UV-protective gloss topcoat that allows the carbon fiber weave pattern to shine through.
Direct Install Procedure. This Viper hood utilizes factory locations as its mounting points. No modifications to your Gladiator are needed. Please note that you will need to install a pair of hood pins to keep it stable when driving at high speeds. What’s more, it is recommended that you send this hood to a professional body shop if you are thinking about painting it. This is since carbon fiber requires specialized prep work before painting.
