      Description

      The Transfer Case Skid Plate provides undercarriage protection for use with long arm suspension systems. It protects the transfer case from damage caused by rocks, debris, and obstacles that may impact drivetrain components.

      The skid plate is 1/4 inch thick and ships in bare metal form.

      Installation requires drilling to space unibody rails at 39.25 inches and rewelding of rails. New unibody rails and a new long arm 3-piece cross member are required and sold separately.

      Fits 1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ. This skid plate does not fit old style unibody rails, old style cross members, 2-inch tall unibody rails, and is not intended for stock setups. It may not fit with some exhaust systems.
