Description
Rugged All-in-One Camera. This Alpine Spare Tire Rear View Camera & Light System is for the serious thrill-seekers. It’s a rear view camera that has been optimized to allow you to accurately detect objects and distances as you’re backing your Jeep up on the road or on the trail. And with its clean design, it seamlessly integrates into your rear mounted spare tire without the need for welding or drilling.
Wide Angle View. This spare tire mounted rear view camera has a 7-inch diameter footprint. This allows you to see the rear of your Wrangler at a wide-angle view so you can more safely and accurately back your Jeep up, especially on treacherous roads.
Third Brake Light. This rear view camera includes a 3rd LED brake light. Apart from offering enhanced safety when you’re backing up, this lighting system also illuminates the camera’s viewing angle for improved nighttime visibility.
Seamless Operation. For your convenience, this rear view camera may be used with select Alpine Multimedia Receivers or with your Jeep’s OE multimedia screen. However, using it with your vehicle’s factory screen requires the ALP-HRN-CAMCH custom harness. It also requires programming of your Jeep’s factory radio to activate the camera input.
Rugged Design. Built to be a true trail companion, this rear view camera has an IP66 waterproof rating and is dust and debris resistant. No matter how rugged the road becomes, this rear view camera has got your back.
Straightforward Installation. This rear view camera with brake light includes all the necessary hardware and connectors for simple installation. However, ExtremeTerrain recommends professional installation for best results.
