This recovery bag is full of the right gear to winch with. With tough, durable, and dependable items, this is the ultimate winch "anywhere" bag. For quick reference, Warn has printed some winching and rigging instructions on the inside of the bag. That’s clever! Inside are some movable partitions with velcro strapping to set the inside of the bag up the way you want. By the way, there is a choice of a medium-duty or a heavy-duty bag (the HD version has a larger, heavier snatch block for larger towing needs, usually heavier trucks).Every Warn Epic Recovery Bag contains a 30-foot tow strap, which is rated at 14,400 lbs. In addition, there is an 8-foot tree strap rated at 14,400 lbs. These straps have a red cord within them which acts as a wear indicator and shows if a strap has been over stretched. This is a safety feature designed by Warn and lets a customer know it’s time to replace the strap.The bag includes two Epic D-Shackles rated at 18K lbs. each. They are forged steel, e-coated, and powder coated for many years of use and protection. Along with the D-shackles, is a Warn Epic snatch block. This can be used with cable or rope winches. Of course, the Warn Epic Recovery Bag sets you up with a nice pair of winching gloves to protect your fingers and give you a solid grip on the winch line.The bag has two loops sewn into it so it can be used as a winch line dampener. The zippers are reversed to help prevent dust and dirt from seeping into the bag. The back portion has straps for using as a MOLLE pack, or to hook up to other straps and gear.
