Description
Transmission Cooling Upgrade. The Mishimoto Full-Flow Transmission Thermal Bypass Valve Kit improves transmission fluid cooling by allowing fluid to circulate to the cooler immediately upon startup. This upgrade replaces the factory thermal bypass valve, preventing thermostat failure and possible transmission overheating in demanding conditions. It is designed to enhance the reliability and longevity of the transmission system.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from CNC-machined billet aluminum, this valve features a durable anodized finish and integrated heat-sink fins for superior heat dissipation and a distinctive look. The all-aluminum construction ensures long-lasting performance even under extreme operating conditions.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and can be completed in less than an hour without any modifications to the stock transmission cooler piping. No drilling or complex steps are required, making it an accessible upgrade for most enthusiasts.

Application. Specifically designed to fit 2016-2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0L EcoDiesel WK2 and 2016-2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 HEMI WK2 models equipped with 8-speed automatic transmissions. It is not recommended to bypass the thermostat in cold climates to avoid transmission fluid overcooling.
