Description
Universal Catalytic Converter. The Magnaflow Universal Catalytic Converter; California Grade CARB Compliant; 2.50-Inch is an aftermarket universal-fit part designed to replace malfunctioning catalytic converters in a wide range of compatible vehicles. It effectively reduces harmful exhaust emissions to comply with stringent CARB regulations while ensuring the vehicle’s emission control systems operate correctly to prevent check engine light issues.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from durable 308 stainless steel with MIG welds, this catalytic converter features 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing providing excellent corrosion resistance for extended service life. The spun stainless steel body delivers a smooth, polished finish that facilitates heat management and durability.
Installation. Installation requires welding as clamps and hangers are not included. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper sealing and fit, especially in compact engine bays.
