Helps Your Grand Cherokee Perform. H&R Pro Series Filters were developed based on technology initially used in Nascar Racing. Not only does this offer superior throughput performance, it’s Nascar lineage comes stamped on the cover so you know you are installing a high-quality, carefully engineered part. The result is a great combination of reliability and performance.
Built for the Road. The K&N Pro Series Oil Filter comprises a durable steel construction with a reinforced double-rolled base and protective black powder coat finish to prevent corrosion. The nitrile rubber gasket provides a superb seal while the cellulose filter captures debris even at high flow rates, to help protect your engine without compromising performance. The built-in pressure release valve offers peace-of-mind at higher engine loads so that your Pony doesn’t blow a gasket.
Flexibility. The H&R Pro Series Filter has been engineered for Synthetic, Conventional and Blended Motor Oils. As well as keeping your engine oil in top working condition, the integrated anti-drain back valve ensures optimum oil flow and coverage by preventing oil flowing back towards the oil pump. This reduces dry friction, regardless of filter position, which in turn reduces wear and helps keep your Grand Cherokee going longer.
Installation. Once the correct procedures for emptying your engine oil have been completed, the filter installs easily with a traditional oil filter wrench. Depending on the filter location and accessibility, professional installation may be required.
