      Description

The Reflect-A-GOLD Heat Reflective Sheet; 24-Inch x 150-Foot is designed to reduce heat soak in critical automotive components such as air boxes, seats, firewalls, transmission tunnels, and intakes. It provides reliable thermal shielding to protect sensitive areas from extreme heat exposure, enhancing overall vehicle performance and safety.

      Construction and Appearance. This heat reflective roll is composed of a metalized polyimide film laminated to a lightweight glass fiber cloth. It features a high-temperature pressure sensitive adhesive backing protected by a release liner rated to 325°F. The sheet is thin, measuring 0.0065 inches thick, with a metallic finish optimized to reflect radiant heat effectively.

      Installation. The product is simple to install thanks to its pressure-sensitive adhesive backing and requires no drilling or complex mounting. Its lightweight and flexible nature allows for easy application on curved or irregular surfaces.

      Application. This heat reflective sheet fits universal applications with some adaptation potentially needed depending on the installation area. It is suitable for various automotive components but must not be applied directly to exhaust parts to avoid adhesive failure.
