Description
High-Performance Heat Protection. The Heat Sheath GOLD; 0.75-Inch x 36-Inch is designed to protect lines, hoses, and wires from excessive heat and abrasion. It works by sliding the sleeving over the components that require insulation, helping maintain their functionality and durability in high-temperature environments.
Construction and Appearance. This sleeving is made from a high-temperature metalized polyimide laminate bonded to a 20oz heat-treated glass fiber base and reinforced with aramid thread for added strength. The metallic gold finish is designed to effectively reflect radiant heat while providing durability and abrasion resistance.
Installation. Installation requires no drilling; simply unhook the line or hose, cut the sleeving to the desired length, slide it on, and reattach the component. This process is quick and easy, suitable for professional or enthusiast use.
Application. Fits universal applications; some adaptation may be required. Do not apply the Heat Sheath GOLD directly to exhaust components to avoid damage.
