Description
Heat Protection Solution. The Heat Sheath GOLD; 0.50-Inch x 36-Inch is designed to protect lines, hoses, and wires from damaging heat and abrasion. It is ideal for use in high-temperature environments to keep critical components cool, flexible, and shielded from radiant heat, extending their operational lifespan.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. This heat sheath features a high-temperature metalized polyimide lamination bonded to a durable 20 oz heat-treated glass fiber base. It is reinforced with aramid thread which enhances its heat resistance, abrasion durability, and flame-retardant properties. The gold metalized finish provides both a functional and aesthetically pleasing reflective surface.
_x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring only that the sheath be cut to length and slid over the line or hose. No additional tools are necessary, enabling quick application in demanding situations.
