Heavy-Duty Steering System. The HD Steering System enhances the durability and performance of the Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ's steering components. It replaces factory tie rods and drag links with a robust 100% bolt-in aluminum system designed for both stock and lifted vehicles. This upgrade improves steering precision and strength, critical for off-road and demanding driving conditions.

Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from solid 7075-T651 aluminum alloy, known for its high strength comparable to many steels, this system features a 1 3/8" solid round rod design. Components are CNC machined, drilled, and tapped for OE-style end links. An upgraded tie rod steering stabilizer mount is included to accommodate popular aftermarket stabilizers.

Installation. Installation requires no drilling, cutting, or welding, making it an accessible direct bolt-in upgrade. Existing factory tie rods and drag links are easily removed and replaced with this heavy-duty aluminum system to significantly increase steering system strength.

Application. This steering system is specifically designed for the 99-04 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ. It fits both stock height and lifted models without modification. Note that the stock steering stabilizer is not compatible with this system; suitable aftermarket options are recommended.
