Description
Heavy-Duty Ball Joint Kit. The Apex Chassis HD Ball Joint Kit is engineered to deliver reliable steering and suspension performance for both off-road and daily driving. It replaces factory ball joints with premium, durable components that enhance handling and extend suspension life, making it ideal for front suspension maintenance or upgrades on Jeep Grand Cherokees.
Construction and Appearance. This kit features SAE 1045 solid steel forged housings that are knurled and precision-machined using CNC technology to ensure a perfect fit. Ball studs are crafted from SAE 4140 hot forged chromoly steel with induction heat treatment for superior strength and resistance to wear. The joints are protected with CR rubber boots that resist heat, cold, ozone, oil, and gasoline exposure. All components receive a black e-coat finish for corrosion resistance.
Installation. Designed for direct replacement of the factory ball joints in the vehicle’s front upper and lower suspension locations, installation requires no drilling or modifications. The kit includes all necessary hardware such as castle nuts, retaining clips, cotter pins, and grease fittings to facilitate proper and secure assembly.
Warranty. This product includes a limited lifetime warranty covering manufacturer defects and premature wear under normal use, excluding rubber boots and other wear components.
Application. Specifically designed to fit the front suspension (upper and lower ball joints) on 1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ models, this kit offers enhanced durability and improved performance compared to factory components.
