Description
Heavy Duty Driveshaft. The Adams Driveshaft Heavy Duty Series Rear 1310 CV Driveshaft with Greasable U-Joints is engineered for durability and reliability in demanding off-road environments. It connects the transmission to the rear axle, transmitting torque and rotational force essential to vehicle movement and drivetrain strength, especially when using larger tires.
Construction and Appearance. Made from 2.5" x .083 wall D.O.M tubing (with 2" x .120 wall tubing available upon request for certain lengths), this driveshaft features greasable Spicer U-joints and heavy-duty cast components from Spicer and Neapco. A gloss black painted finish provides corrosion resistance and a quality appearance.
Installation. Installation requires basic mechanical skills and must be used with an End Yoke SYE Kit. Accurate center-to-center measurement is necessary for proper fitment and operation. Customers using a Mega Short SYE should notify as this affects the driveshaft length. No drilling is specifically required unless dictated by the vehicle or kit.
Warranty. The welds and tubing come with a lifetime warranty against torque-related breakage.
Application. This driveshaft is designed to fit 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ models. Proper SYE setup and measurement are essential to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.
