Heavy Duty Steering Upgrade. The Synergy Manufacturing Heavy Duty Steering Kit is designed to provide a stronger, more durable steering system for lifted Jeep models. It replaces the stock steering components with heavy duty parts specifically engineered to minimize bump steer and prevent drag link tie rod end misalignment or flop, improving handling stability in off-road conditions.

Construction and Appearance. The tie rod is crafted from heat treated 1-3/8" 4130 chromoly steel for maximum strength, while the drag link is formed from 1-3/8" 1018 solid bar to resist deflection. Both components feature an abrasion-resistant powder coat finish that protects against corrosion and wear, ensuring a long-lasting, robust steering setup.

Installation. Installation is straightforward and 100% bolt-on, requiring only basic hand tools with no need for reaming or drilling of steering knuckles. Tie rod and drag link lengths can be adjusted without removal from the vehicle, simplifying alignment and fitment during installation.

Application. Designed to fit the 87-01 Jeep Cherokee XJ with lifts of 2 to 6 inches, this kit requires a minimum of 2-inch front bump stop spacers for proper function. It is compatible with the stock pitman arm for lifts under 4 inches and requires a drop pitman arm for lifts from 4.5 to 6 inches.
