Description
Heavy Duty Steering Upgrade. The Synergy Manufacturing Heavy Duty Steering Kit with FOX IFP Stabilizer is a robust bolt-on solution designed to replace the stock steering components on select Jeep models. It enhances steering strength and durability, reducing common issues such as bump steer and death wobble, thereby improving vehicle control and safety during off-road and lifted vehicle use.
Construction and Appearance. The kit features a 1-3/8" 4130 chromoly steel tie rod that is heat treated for superior strength, and a 1-3/8" 1018 solid bar drag link engineered to eliminate deflection. Both components have an abrasion-resistant powder coat finish for excellent corrosion resistance and durability. The kit also includes a steering stabilizer clamp made from CNC extruded 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with a black anodized finish, combining corrosion resistance with a clean appearance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, with 100% bolt-on components that require no reaming or drilling of steering knuckles. This ensures a trouble-free upgrade using basic hand tools without modification to existing vehicle structures.
Application. This heavy duty steering kit is specifically designed to fit 1987-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ models without exceptions or exclusions.
