Heavy Duty Steering Components. The Rugged Ridge Heavy Duty Tie Rod/Drag Link Kit replaces the factory tie rods and drag link with stronger components designed to prevent bending when using larger tires. It improves steering durability and helps maintain vehicle control under demanding conditions.

Construction and Appearance. Made from 1-1/4 inch outer diameter cold rolled steel tubing with a 1/4 inch wall thickness, this kit features seamless DOM tubing for enhanced strength. The heavy-duty 7/8 inch rod ends have tapered ends compatible with stock knuckles, providing robust durability for off-road use.

Installation. This kit offers a bolt-on installation that requires no drilling or permanent modifications; however, some aftermarket suspension or steering setups may need minor adjustments to ensure proper fitment.

Warranty. Backed by a five-year limited warranty covering defects in material and workmanship.

Application. Designed specifically to fit 84-01 4.0L Jeep Cherokee XJ models. It does not fit right-hand drive vehicles, factory Rubicon wheels, or wheels with a flat style face. Use is not recommended on vehicles with less than 2 inches or more than 4 inches of suspension lift, as fitment and performance may be affected.
