The Rough Country Suspension NP242 Transfer Case Long Arm Upgrade Kit is engineered to deliver outstanding suspension performance and articulation for Jeep Cherokee XJ owners running a 4 to 6-inch lift. This bolt-on long arm kit increases ground clearance, improves alignment geometry, and enhances overall suspension travel, making it ideal for serious off-roaders who demand control, flex, and rugged durability.

      Construction and Appearance. Featuring a heavy-duty 0.25-inch thick crossmember and high-clearance lower control arms, the kit is built for strength in extreme conditions. The X-Flex control arms come with Clevite OEM-style rubber bushings and fully greaseable joints. Flex joints allow up to 20 degrees of pivot on the upper arms and 35 degrees on the lower arms, ensuring massive articulation over uneven terrain. The rugged design also adds an aggressive off-road aesthetic to your Cherokee XJ.

      Installation. Installation is hard and may require professional help or advanced mechanical knowledge. While the kit is fully bolt-on, proper alignment, torque specs, and clearance checks are essential for safety and performance.
