Undeniably High-Quality Construction. The PSC Motorsports Extreme Duty Steering Cylinder Assist Kit for 38-42 inch Tall Tires comes with all-new parts, engineered for superior performance on harsh off-road conditions. These components come with the appropriate valving ratios for trail driving. The steering gearbox has been modified accordingly; however, in order to maintain OEM handling, control, and overall performance, the valving remains stock.
Some Modification Required. The PSC Motorsports Extreme Duty Steering Cylinder Assist Kit requires the modification or removal of your Jeep’s windshield fluid bottle and radiator overflow bottle prior to installation. It also requires some welding in order to mount your cylinder and modify your reservoir.

Application. This PSC Motorsports Extreme Duty Steering Cylinder Assist Kit was designed for all 1990-1994 4.0L Jeep Cherokee XJ models fitted with 38-42 inch tires.
Technical Note. This cylinder assist kit was not designed to improve drivability; it was meant for dampening and turning larger tires and taking stress off the gearbox. Additionally, use a power steering fluid cooler with this high-performance pump for proper heat displacement.
