Omix-ADA makes this Reverse Idler Gear for the AX5 for when you need to rebuild or repair the transmission, when time and wear begin to loosen the parts or it is damaged by a bit of rough driving. The part is designed to exceed the OE component, making it work better then original once it has been installed.

      Construction. Omix-ADA has engineered this component to match the stock reverse idler gear as closely as possible, including OE specifications, quality parameters, size, fit, and performance. Manufactured out of steel, this AX5 Transmission Reverse Idler Gear fits the AX5 5-speed manual transmission. The company provides a limited 5 year warranty on this part. Installation takes peak Jeep skills and can take up to 8 hours to complete.
