More Torque and Horsepower. With this black AFE Momentum GT Cold Air Intake With Pro-GUARD 7 Oiled Filter, it’s possible to power-up your supercharged Jeep even more. This system outflows the stock intake by up to 8%, giving the engine more air to generate more horsepower and torque. It also features a cross-linked polyethylene housing that shields the filter from the hot engine bay, keeping the intake air as cool as possible.
No Custom Tuning Necessary. Upon installation, you can already enjoy the benefits of this cold air intake system. For peak performance, however, it’s best to get a custom tune. A custom tune is also ideal if you have multiple upgrades designed to boost your Jeep’s performance.
Pro-GUARD 7 Washable Oiled Filter. For maximum filtration capability and capacity, this cold air intake features a Pro-GUARD 7 oiled filter. It has 5 progressive layers of cotton gauze media, which can filter out even the smallest particles. It’s also sized large enough that you can expect a longer service life in between cleanings. In addition, the clear sight window helps you easily check if the filter is due for another washing. Finally, this oiled filter has a 100% polyurethane frame for added strength with minimal maintenance needed. With proper care, you can use this filter for a very long time.
Roto-Molded Plastic Intake Tube. AFE used a heavy-duty roto-molded plastic inlet tube for this cold air intake system. It’s dyno-tuned and CAD-designed, ensuring smoother, more efficient airflow for better performance. This inlet tube also has a 1/8-inch NPT port located ahead of the throttle body. This port can connect a water/methanol system that you can use in conjunction with this cold air intake.
Hassle-Free Bolt-On Installation. There’s no need for cutting, drilling, or any other modifications to install this cold air intake. All you need are basic hand tools and the enclosed mounting hardware and instructions to accomplish the installation within an hour or so.
Comes With a 2-Year Limited Warranty. This cold air intake comes with a 2-year warranty, which begins upon purchase and covers both workmanship and material defects. You may visit the AFE website for more information or contact customer support for questions.
Not CARB-Exempt. At present, this cold air intake system is not CARB-certified. It’s not available for purchase in California and is not legal for use in all states that enforce CARB regulations. In addition, you may not install this cold air intake on vehicles registered in California.
