Description
High Clearance Upgrade. The Zone Offroad Shock Mount Relocation Kit raises the lower rear shock mounts by 3 inches, aligning them flush with the bottom of the axle tube. This upgrade significantly improves ground clearance by preventing stock mounts from scraping on rocks and obstacles during off-road use. It is designed for welding onto the chassis to ensure a strong and reliable mounting point for shocks.
Construction and Appearance. Fabricated from 3/16-inch steel, this relocation bracket offers durability and long-lasting strength for rugged off-road environments. It includes a new shock stud compatible with any standard 5/8-inch inner diameter shock bushing and features a weld-on design with no color coating, allowing corrosion resistance to be enhanced through welding and any additional treatments applied by the installer.
Installation. This shock mount relocation kit requires welding for installation, making it suitable for users with welding skills or professional installation. No drilling is necessary, but proper alignment and secure welding must be ensured for optimal performance and safety.
