Description
Hydraulic Shock Performance. The SkyJacker Hydro 7000 Front Shock Absorber for 1 to 3-Inch Lift is engineered to provide smooth and responsive ride quality by efficiently absorbing road irregularities. It improves vehicle control and comfort in lifted 4WD applications where suspension travel and handling are essential. This shock adapts to varying road conditions and speeds, ensuring a superior driving experience on and off the pavement.
Construction and Appearance. This shock features a bonded iron piston for enhanced durability, paired with a corrosion-resistant chromed piston rod. It utilizes an orifice disk design for optimal hydraulic fluid flow, housed in a sturdy body with a weather-resistant finish and a red protective boot covering the shaft to shield against debris.
Installation. Installation requires no drilling, fitting existing mounting points with S1 upper and BP4 lower mount codes. It is suitable for mechanics with basic to moderate experience in suspension component replacement.
Application. Specifically designed to fit the front suspension of Jeep Cherokee XJ models from 1984 to 2001, this shock accommodates lifts from 1 to 3 inches.
