This simple replacement will ensure a proper readout on your speedometer, keeping you safe and legal. It is specifically designed to work with the cable speedometer in your 1984 - 1993 Jeep Cherokee XJ.

      Construction. This 29 tooth long speedometer gear by Rugged Ridge is guaranteed to be free of material or workmanship defects by a 5 year limited warranty. It is precision fabricated out of high quality steel to match the fit of the original factory installed speedometer gear.

      Application. The Speedometer Gear, 29 Teeth, Long Shaft is designed for use on 1984 - 1993 Jeep Cherokee XJ models equipped with a NP231 Transfer case and cable speedometer.
