Efficient Battery Charging. The REDARC 10 AMP Solar Regulator is designed to safely and efficiently manage power transfer from solar panels to auxiliary batteries. It ensures the battery receives the correct multi-stage charge through boost, absorption, and float modes, preventing overcharging and extending battery life. This regulator is essential for maintaining battery health in both permanent and portable solar setups.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring a compact, durable design with a neutral grey finish, the unit is engineered to operate reliably across a wide temperature range from -35°C to 55°C. The inclusion of the genuine Anderson™ SB™50 connector ensures secure and easy connections.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and suitable for both portable and permanent solar systems. Typically, no drilling or specialized tools are necessary, making it accessible to both enthusiasts and professionals.
Warranty and Application. This product comes with a two-year manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. It is compatible with solar charging systems that utilize Anderson™ SB™50 connectors; however, it is not suitable for Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries. The default battery type setting is AGM, and adjustments or configuration changes may require the REDARC Solar Remote Monitor.
