The thermostat will open at a lower temperature (180°F) than the standard Jeep Wrangler thermostats (195°F) once the engine has fully warmed up. As a result, the coolant may go through the engine more quickly, thus lowering and maintaining your engine temperature. Lower temperatures will lead to less engine wear and more dependability.

      Installation. Installing the Mishimoto Performance Racing Thermostat is easy and requires no drilling or modification on your vehicle. With the proper tools and equipment, installation is a breeze and will only take about 20 minutes.
