This clutch kit is essential for upgraded trucks and off-road vehicles seeking enhanced performance on challenging trails.
Construction and Appearance. This clutch features a dual performance disc made of organic and ceramic materials to optimize friction and durability. The diaphragm-style pressure plate provides a high clamp load with consistent pressure, and all components are built to withstand heat and stress effectively. The finish prioritizes durability and function over aesthetic coloration.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and does not involve any drilling for compatibility with the designated vehicles. The kit includes a throwout bearing and pilot bushing where applicable, along with an alignment tool to ensure proper assembly and smooth clutch operation.
Application. Specifically designed to fit the 1987 to 1993 Jeep Cherokee XJ 4.0L engine. For these models, an internal slave cylinder is required as the included release bearing is not compatible.
