High-Temperature Wire Protection. The Protect-A-Wire Kit for 4-Cylinder Engines in Titanium is engineered to protect spark plug wires, wiring, and hoses from extreme engine and exhaust heat. It prevents burning, cracking, and damage caused by exposure to temperatures up to 1800°F direct heat and 2500°F radiant heat, making it ideal for both street and racing vehicles where thermal protection is essential.

Construction and Appearance. This kit is made from high temperature resistant basalt fiber material featuring proprietary LR Technology, providing superior thermal insulation. Included are a 13-foot length of silver-gray titanium sleeving with a 1/2-inch inside diameter, four 6-inch heat-resistant Protect-A-Boots with internal metal rings, and twelve 1.5-inch heat shrink tubes for secure and durable installation.

Installation. Installation is simple and requires no drilling. The components can be easily cut to the desired length and fitted directly over wires or cables, secured with the included heat shrink tubes and boots for reliable protection.

Application. The kit is designed as a universal solution for most 4-cylinder engines, although some adaptation may be necessary to ensure proper fit and optimal protection based on specific vehicle configurations.
