Description
Custom Bumper Foundation. The Front Bumper Mounting Plate Kit; Bare Steel provides a dependable base for creating custom front bumpers on the Jeep Cherokee XJ. It allows fabricators and builders to utilize existing frame mounting points, ensuring a reinforced and secure installation, especially for non-winch or hidden winch designs.
Construction and Appearance. Made from ¼" thick hot-rolled steel, each plate is precision-cut to guarantee proper fit and superior strength. The unfinished raw steel surface permits full customization and welding to meet specific fabrication needs.
Installation. Installation requires moderate fabrication skills, including cutting, bolting, and welding, depending on the bumper design. The plates attach using six factory mounting points per side, eliminating the need for drilling when properly aligned.
