Extreme Heat Protection. The Form-A-Shield™ 42-Inch x 48-Inch heat barrier is engineered to provide superior protection where extreme direct heat exposure is common. It reduces radiant temperatures around exhaust systems by shielding headers, manifolds, turbo housings, and downpipes, helping protect vehicle components and lower under hood temperatures.

This heat barrier features a 10 mil dimpled aluminum outer layer bonded to a high temperature rated basalt thermal barrier material, creating a durable and pliable shield. The aluminum finish reflects heat and resists chemical and oil spills while maintaining flexibility for complex shapes.
_x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no drilling or adhesive backing. It can be secured with straps, clamps, or locking ties for a secure fit on various components.
