Description
Effective Heat Barrier. The Floor and Tunnel Shield II (21-Inch x 48-Inch; Black) is designed to block engine and exhaust heat from penetrating vehicle interiors, protecting critical components and enhancing comfort. It is applied to surfaces such as firewalls, transmission tunnels, and floors where heat control is necessary.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. This shield features a proprietary high temperature black coating on an embossed 10 mil aluminum face, bonded to a 1/8" composite glass-fiber core, delivering durability and effective insulation. The black finish provides a sleek, flexible surface that maintains its performance under extreme heat conditions.
_x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward due to the aggressive peel-and-stick adhesive backing that requires no drilling. Its flexibility allows it to conform to complex shapes easily, simplifying application.
_x000D_Application. Designed for universal fitment; some adaptation may be required to accommodate specific vehicle configurations. It must not be applied directly to exhaust components to avoid damage.
