It raises the vehicle by 2 inches, improving ground clearance and tire fitment while maintaining a smooth ride quality. This kit is designed for enthusiasts aiming to optimize both daily driving comfort and rugged terrain handling.
Construction and Appearance. The kit features high tensile steel Glide-Ride coil springs engineered for durability and longevity, along with a thin add-a-leaf to maintain ride comfort. It includes either NX2 Nitro gas shocks with a twin-tube nitrogen-charged design and velocity-sensitive valving, or FOX 2.0 Performance Series monotube shocks with CNC-machined aluminum ends and high-flow pistons. All components feature protective finishes such as powder coating and anodizing for corrosion resistance and visual appeal.
Installation. Installation of this lift kit is moderately difficult and typically requires about 4 hours. Specialty tools such as a torque wrench, ball joint separator, drill, and proper jacking equipment are necessary. No transfer case lowering is required for 2WD models.
