Description
Enhanced Suspension Performance. The BDS 2-Inch Coil Spring Suspension Lift Kit with Add-A-Leaf and choice of NX2 Nitro Series or FOX 2.0 Performance Shocks raises the ride height of your Jeep Cherokee XJ by approximately two inches, improving ground clearance and allowing the use of larger tires. This kit enhances vehicle stance and handling while maintaining ride quality, making it suitable for both on-road and off-road applications.
Construction and Appearance. The kit features high tensile steel Pro-Ride coil springs for the front suspension and a long thin add-a-leaf spring for the rear, designed to provide lift while preserving smooth ride characteristics. It includes precision-engineered FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks, constructed with an extruded aluminum body, IFP monotube design, 6061-T6 aluminum ends, 5/8-inch hard chrome shafts, and a clear anodized finish for durability and corrosion resistance.
Installation. Installation is moderate in difficulty and typically takes approximately four hours. Basic hand tools, a torque wrench, a ball joint separator, and drilling tools are required for proper fitment, along with a jack and jack stands for safety.
Application. This suspension lift kit is designed to fit 1984-2001 4WD Jeep Cherokee XJ models equipped with either Chrysler 8.25-inch or Dana 35 rear axles. Proper measurement of the rear axle is necessary to ensure correct U-bolt fitment and optimal performance with your specific axle configuration.
