Spare Tire Mount. The Baja Rack Roof Rack Tire Mount enhances the functionality of compatible roof racks by providing a secure mounting point for a spare tire. It is designed to keep your spare tire safely secured during travel, making it essential for outdoor adventures and long trips where tire damage is a concern.
Construction and Appearance. Made from robust cold-rolled steel, this mount consists of a durable 1/8 inch (3.175 mm) steel plate and a 1 inch (25.4 mm) tube. It features an epoxy primer that acts as a rust barrier, finished with black powder coating for increased corrosion resistance and a sleek, professional look.
Installation. The mount installs directly on the floor of the roof rack. Installation is simple and does not require drilling, allowing a convenient and user-friendly setup for various roof rack configurations.
Application. Designed to fit most roof racks universally, the mount may require some adjustments depending on individual rack designs and flooring types. It is not compatible with racks that have mesh flooring.
