They also absorb some of the shock on the rolling chassis and prevent it from entering the cabin of your Jeep TJ. Because they receive a daily pounding, these parts are not long for this world. The good news is that Jeep TJ suspensions and bushings are inexpensive and can be purchased for only a few dollars each. When to replace them? If you hear mysterious clunks and creaks or other excessive road noise, it may mean that your bushings are going bad.
