When the part begins to wear out, there should be an audible squeak or even a clunk, which may mean that the bearings inside your universal joint have gone bad. The problem is generally the result of poor lubrication, but age may also be an issue, especially if you take your TJ off the beaten path. Factory-built Jeep TJ drive shafts and u-joints are simply not designed to withstand the rigors of off-roading and may wear out in short order. We offer a wide selection of durable u-joints, most of which can be serviced and will last a much longer time than stock parts.
