Description
Superior Heat And Noise Control. The Thermo Tec Cool-It Mat, available in 48-Inch x 48-Inch size, provides an effective barrier to reduce excessive heat and noise infiltration into the driver compartment and other key vehicle areas. It enhances in-cabin comfort by insulating against heat and minimizing unwanted sound intrusion.
Construction and Appearance. This mat features resin-bonded silica insulation with a dual-density composite core. One side is finished with a reflective Foil Scrim Kraft (FSK) facing that acts as a vapor and radiant barrier, while the opposite side has a foil facing that efficiently conducts penetrating heat across the surface. The mat measures approximately 1/2 inch thick and presents reflective metallic surfaces on both sides.
Installation. Installation is simple and requires no drilling. The mat can be easily trimmed and secured using the included push-in fasteners or weather strip adhesive, allowing a custom fit on various vehicle surfaces.
Warranty. This product includes a manufacturer warranty; please confirm the specific duration through the supplier.
Application. Designed for universal fitment, this mat may need some adaptation depending on the vehicle configuration.
