Hey, guys. So, today we're checking out the Alterum Waterproof Pet Guard Seat Cover, fitting all-year Wranglers. So, if you constantly have pets in and out of your Jeep and you're looking for some solid protection for your back seats that's not only affordable but also easy to throw on and take off whenever you'd like, then this option is gonna be a great choice to take a look into. Now, this is even great for the Jeep owners who don't even have a pet and they're just looking for some easy protection to the back seat from anything that they are putting in the back seat. So, that could be muddy tools from the trail or really anything else that you don't want contacting the seats themselves. I know this is going to hook over the headrest on either side, hook around the bottom with some straps on the bottom, and it's gonna have inserts in the middle. So, this is going to have a pretty form fit designed for what it is.Now, this is still going to have a more universal fit, so, again, it is going to be on the more affordable side in comparison to a seat cover that completely surrounds this seat, but, again, is going to make it very easy to put on and take off whenever you'd like. So, if you don't necessarily want a seat cover on here all the time, this is a great solution for that. Not only is this going to give you full protection, but it's gonna be durable and waterproof as well. And so it's going to have a top nylon material up here that's going to be very durable. And on the back, you're gonna have that waterproofing, so nothing is gonna be able to get through it. And it's going to have a non-slip design. So, you can ensure that once this is on here, it's not gonna slide around, which is great, especially if you have pets moving around in the back seat. And the other thing that I really like about this is not only the fact that it's got multiple attachment points for a more universal style cover like this, but it's also going to have a flap in the middle. So, if you need to utilize your seat belt buckles, you can totally do that. Now, it's gonna have one on either side for both of the seat belt buckles. I personally like that. So, if you want to strap a pet in with a pet-style seat belt buckle, you can utilize that or really wherever else you need to utilize that buckle.Now, with all that being said, this is going to come in at roughly $25, making this incredibly affordable for what it is. Now, I personally think it's a no-brainer if you don't want something that's permanent, and you're still looking for something that's going to give you full coverage and is durable. Now, some of the options available on the page are usually going to be for those more permanent options. Now, obviously, you can take seat covers on and off, but not as easy and as timeless as this. So, again, I think if you're looking for something easy, looking for something affordable, not gonna break the bank, then this is gonna be a great choice. So, as far as install is concerned, like I said, this is going to be very easy, no tools required. I'm gonna give it a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, taking you no longer than five minutes to get the job done. So, speaking of the install, let's jump into that now.So, starting off with our cover face down, what we're gonna do is lay the bottom portion over the bottom portion of our seat here. So, you'll be able to tell which side is the bottom because there's gonna be a strap that's gonna go around each corner on either side. So, I am just going to pass the cover through there. We can get the strap installed around. And then these are going to go into the crease of this seat. And that's what's gonna keep this cover on the bottom and keep it more of a form fit down at the bottom as well. So, this is gonna go right through. Now that that's through the bottom, what we can do is grab our buckle, and you can either unbuckle it or you can just slide over. Then we can do the same thing for the other side. Now, what you can do is tighten this up if you'd like. You just have to pull on the strap and just readjust it. All right. And then at this point, you just wanna make sure that it's sitting properly. So, now that the cover is on, you can either leave it like this, or if you have to utilize your seat belt, what you can do is open up this little Velcroed slot, you can pull the seat belt portion through. And you can either Velcro around or do whatever you need in order to use the seat belt. However, once everything is set up and adjusted, then you're all set to go.So, that is going to wrap it up for my review and install.
