What is the gauge range (lowest PSI to highest PSI) on the displayed meter? I air my tires down low and I want to make sure that this shows the low range accurately as well as the high ranges. The page could use a better picture (close up of the PSI reader).

        • This gauge is rated from 0 PSI to 220 PSI.

How does this product work for deflating? Will it deflate the tire quickly to a desired pressure? I don't imagine it needs to be connected to a compressor to deflate? How does it compare to the Smittybilt R.A.D.?

        • This will deflate the tire to a desired pressure, but it is not a preset pressure, you will have to watch the gauge to stop it when it gets to where it needs to be. You do not need to connect this to a compressor to deflate your tires.

How does this product work (particularly for inflating)? Is there any other piece that needs to be purchased with it?

        • This Rugged Ridge Tire Deflator/Inflator will require to be attached to a compressor.

            It’s decent

Looks great! Does its job. Mine blew the brass plug on the second time I was airing up after wheeling. It might just have been a just a bad one. I bought 2. Let’s see how the other one does.

            Must have

This inflator I'd amazing it clamps right on to your valve stem and then all you have to do is press the button until your at the our you want. It's totally worth the money.

            Great accuracy

This product is incredible...... for what it does. But a little on the pricey side. If looking for perfect accuracy, buy the product.

            Extreme-ly Disappointing!

I obviously missed the part in the specifications that said that this product is for Jeeps that air their tires up to 220 lbs. The area on the gauge between 0 and 20 lbs. is about 3/16". Good luck getting an accurate idea of where your tire pressures are in that range. I thought I could just add a standard 0-60 lb. gauge in place of the 0-220 lb. unit but it appears it is permanently attached to the rest of the mechanism.

            Meh ...

It works as advertised, but it's a little poor fitting on the valve stem. You have to use one hand to hold the valve fitting firmly and at just the right angle, while the other hand holds the pressure release handle. I haven't used any other brand, so I can't say if this is endemic to these products, or a poor design by Rugged Ridge. For the price, it does what it says, even if it is imperfectly.
