The Flowmaster Scavenger Y-Collector; 2.50-Inch Inlet/3-Inch Outlet improves exhaust efficiency by utilizing patented D-Port technology to optimize exhaust pulse scavenging. This results in a cleaner burn of the fuel and air mixture, enhancing torque across a broad RPM range. It is designed for use in 2 into 1 exhaust systems to maximize engine output.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. Crafted from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel, the Y-Collector features fully welded construction ensuring long-lasting strength and resistance to corrosion. The finish is aluminized steel, providing a tough, industrial look while enhancing durability under high-heat conditions.
_x000D_Installation. Installation requires basic welding skills as the inlet and outlet connections are weld-on types. Some adaptation and fabrication may be necessary as this is a universal fit component, and clamps are not included.
_x000D_Warranty. The product is backed by a three-year limited warranty covering usage outside of racing applications. Application. Designed for universal fitment, this Y-Collector requires some adaptation during installation to suit various exhaust configurations.
