Description
High-Performance Heat Shielding. The Reflect-A-GOLD Heat Reflective Sheet; 24-Inch x 150-Foot is designed to prevent heat soak into sensitive automotive components such as air boxes, seats, firewalls, and transmission tunnels. Its primary function is to reflect radiant heat, helping to maintain cooler temperatures in critical areas and improve overall vehicle performance and comfort. This product is ideal for use around firewalls, fuel cells, engine covers, and other zones exposed to high heat.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. This heat shield features a metalized polyimide film laminated onto a lightweight glass fiber cloth, providing durability and excellent heat reflection. It includes a high-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive on the back, protected by a release liner rated to 325°F. The sheet is 0.0065 inches thick, with a smooth, metallic appearance on the heat-reflective side and a more textured glass fiber backing with adhesive.
