      Description

      Functional Ram Air Hood. The TYPE-RKS Style Ram Air Hood; Unpainted offers a performance-oriented replacement for a standard factory hood. It channels cold intake air efficiently to work in conjunction with major aftermarket performance air intake systems, enhancing engine cooling and airflow.

      Construction And Appearance. Crafted from high-quality hand laid fiberglass and resin, this hood is finished with gel coat on both the top and underside, providing a smooth surface for easier painting prep. Aluminum wire mesh grill inserts are included where applicable, adding both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

      Installation. Installation is designed to be straightforward, using the vehicle’s factory hinges and latch to simplify the process. Some hand-finishing is required for paint prep and fitment, so it is not a simple bolt-on installation.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models from 2016 to 2018 without modifications or fitment issues.
