Description
Thermal Protection Solution. The Heat Shroud, sized 12 AN x 36 inches, is designed to safeguard lines, hoses, and wires from excessive heat and abrasion without disconnecting them. It is applied by wrapping around the component and securing with a hook-and-loop closure, providing protection while maintaining system integrity.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. Constructed from high-temperature rated glass fiber fabric with a heat-treated 19 oz glass fiber insulation core and an aluminized outer facing, this product is reinforced with aramid thread. This combination offers excellent heat resistance, abrasion durability, flame retardant properties, and a durable metallic finish.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is simple and requires no tools or removal of lines or hoses. The shroud wraps around and fastens via the hook-and-loop closure. No drilling or permanent modifications are necessary.
_x000D__x000D_Application. This heat shroud fits universally with an adjustable diameter to accommodate 12 AN line sizes and various hose diameters, though some adaptation may be required. It should not be applied directly to exhaust components.
