Description
Heat Control Solution. The Floor and Tunnel Shield II (42-Inch x 48-Inch; Black) effectively blocks engine and exhaust heat from penetrating vehicle interiors, protecting sensitive components. It offers a flexible format with an aggressive adhesive backing for easy application on firewalls, transmission tunnels, floors, and other areas where heat management is critical.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. This shield features an embossed 10 mil aluminum face bonded to a 1/8-inch composite glass-fiber core and finished with a proprietary high-temperature black coating. The surface is durable, flexible, and provides an attractive black finish designed to withstand extremely high temperatures while maintaining structural integrity.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation requires only peeling and sticking the shield using its pressure-sensitive adhesive backing, eliminating the need for drilling. Its flexibility enables easy cutting and shaping to fit various surfaces with minimal clearance required.
_x000D__x000D_Application. Designed for universal fitment; some adaptation may be required. It must not be applied directly to exhaust components to avoid damage.
