The Heat Shroud; 12 AN x 10-Foot effectively safeguards lines, hoses, and wires from damaging heat and abrasions, prolonging their service life without disconnecting any components. It is designed for simple wrapping and securing around existing assemblies, providing critical heat reflection and abrasion resistance in demanding automotive environments.

Construction and Appearance. Constructed from high-temperature rated glass fiber fabric with a durable aluminized outer facing, this heat shroud incorporates 19 oz heat-treated glass fiber insulation reinforced with aramid thread for superior heat resistance and abrasion durability. The material features a hook-and-loop closure system for easy application and adjustable diameter fitment, finished in a silver reflective surface to deflect radiant heat up to 2000°F.

Installation. Installation is quick and tool-free, requiring no disconnection of existing lines or hoses. The shroud is simply wrapped around the desired section and secured with the hook-and-loop closure, allowing for easy customization in length and diameter.

Application. This product is designed for universal use with some adaptation required to fit varying hose diameters from 0.5 to 2.5 inches. It is not intended for direct application on exhaust components to avoid damage.
