      Description

      LED Turn Signal Upgrade. The Diode Dynamics Amber LED Bulbs, including models such as the 3157 XP80, provide a direct replacement solution for front turn signals on 1999-2007 Ford Super Duty F250/F350/F450/F550 trucks. These bulbs deliver instant on-off brightness to modernize the vehicle’s look and improve visibility and safety with superior illumination compared to factory incandescent bulbs.

      Construction and Appearance. The XP80 model features a robust metal heatsink design with sixteen high-power 5W LEDs arranged to provide consistent high output and reliable heat dissipation. Amber LEDs produce vibrant signaling colors, all housed in durable casings engineered for long-term automotive use. Other models in the line include HP48, HP11, and the HP24 switchback, which offers both bright white running lights and amber turn signals.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward with plug-and-play compatibility with factory 3157 sockets, requiring no modifications or drilling. However, due to the LED load reduction compared to incandescent bulbs, a resistor or flasher may be necessary to prevent hyperblinking on some vehicles.
